Legend held that the van der Zh\u00f6\u00df\u00e6ngr\u00fc\u00fcp\u00e5bergschl\u00f8ssenfu\u00dfmeister name formed out of congealed fog and sleet <em>under a churning, poisoned sky<\/em> right here in the isles of Bumpengrynd. That familial linkage did account for Hildegard&#8217;s presence in this remote place.<\/p>\n<p>Chartreuse Pamplemousse returned to the living room <em>with a stethoscope<\/em>. Quick as a serpent he placed its cold end over my left eye, and with matching quickness I reflexively countered with a self-defense move <em>known colloquially as the &#8220;Florida lunch break.&#8221;<\/em> If delivered with full force it can indeed break somebody&#8217;s lunch, but I reined myself in at the last second. Or did I?
