First the waiter informed us\u00a0that, due to a late delivery, they had to <em>strike the harp<\/em> seal from the menu. Then my husband\u00a0asked for a description of\u00a0the chef&#8217;s speciality, but it turned out that <em>the &#8220;moon&#8221; on the breast<\/em> of emu\u00a0was just a lump of mashed potatoes. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted, but\u00a0<em>since reindeer are scarce<\/em> it was agreed that <em>I&#8217;d take the seasick crocodile<\/em>. As we waited for the food, our twins squabbled\u00a0over <em>that old silk hat they found<\/em> in the cloakroom.
